200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Our Training This teacher training offers information and perspectives
from three yoga instructors and the lineages they are trained in. It includes anatomy, physiology, asana, pranayama, sanskrit,
teaching methodologies, meditation, how to sequence a class, how to teach to a diverse group of people and yoga philosophy.
We will provide information on Ayurveda as self-care as well as teaching to the three Doshas. The students will also be
introduced to Naad Yoga from the 3HO Kundalini tradition. Teachers Deanna Evans, E-RYT, LMT For the past thirteen years Deanna has devoted her life to the healing
arts, yoga and meditation. As an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and certified meditation instructor, she hopes
to inspire students to work within their own creative process, to utilize the sacred teachings of yoga, but ultimately to
trust their own innate wisdom and truth. Deanna’s background includes classic Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Kundalini
Yoga. Her meditation and spiritual practice is a culmination of years of self-inquiry as well as drawing from the teachings
of Satya Sai Baba, Amma Karunamayi and Paramhansa Yogananda. Deanna encourages her students to approach their practice with
a deep awareness of their physical and subtle bodies, and to face challenges on and off the mat with Suka (ease and joy)
through the vehicle of the breath, a still mind, and an open heart. Deanna is also a nationally certified and licensed massage
therapist.
